Incorporated in 2007, New York City and Lower Hudson Valley Clean Communities has been tasked with providing support and management skills necessary to advance the regions economic, environmental, and energy security by building local public-private partnerships towards promoting the use of technologies and practices that reduce petroleum consumption throughout New York City and Lower Hudson Valley (Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties).

Clean Transport: Driving 2.0
About: Despite years of effort and billions invested, we still confront many of the same challenges to cleaner, greener transportation. Roadways, airports and railways are aging. here is a lack of infrastructure to support alternative fuel vehicles. Indifference, if no outright hostility, persists in the development of high speed rail and mass transit. The expert panel explores what we have learned, new trends and technologies, and where investors are placing their bets. Join in the journey on clean transportation. NYCLHVCC will be tabling at this event.

About: A showcase of vehicles and equipment from agencies through the Westchester Region. Specialty vehicles, patrol vehicles, fire/EMS, Marine, aviation and public works vehicles will be featured! Come see NYCLHVCC and the City of White Plains’ new CNG Sanitation Truck that was awarded to the City by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA)!
Das Haus – Innovation in Renewables and Energy Efficiency
About:DAS HAUS is a traveling pavilion that showcases cut-ting-edge architectural and technical concepts for maximizing energy efficiency and the use of renew- able energy in construction. This mobile exhibition is supported by the German federal government’s Ministry of Economics and Technology and forms part of two export initiatives run by the Ministry: the Renewable Energy Export Initiative and the Energy Efficiency Export Initiative. NYCLHVCC is partnering with DAS HAUS by showcasing Electric Vehicles at the event.
