On Monday, August 16, 2010, New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, signed in to law a mandate to blend biodiesel with all heating oil sold and used in all five boroughs of the city.

It wasn’t easy; several times the bill stalled, but we kept working with the right people to get it done. Ultra Green is positioned to help make the New York City Bioheat® mandate a success! We have the largest network of biodiesel terminals in the New York Metro region and are prepared to supply biodiesel to all of the refiners and terminals in New York Harbor.” said Daniel Falcone, Ultra Green Wholesale Manager, after witnessing the Mayor sign the bill in to law.
