Christina Ficicchia; Executive Director NYCLHVCC
Ms. Ficicchia is currently the Executive Director at New York City and Lower Hudson Valley Clean Communities, acting as the Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator for the region. Ms. Ficicchia worked as an economic and environmental planner with Bronx Overall and Pratt Center for approximately 5 years before becoming the Executive Director of New York City & Lower Hudson Valley Clean Communities, Inc. (NYCLHVCC). She has worked on PV (Solar) panel projects, Green roof projects, green building and other energy efficiency and improvement projects. As the executive director, Ms. Ficicchia provides support and management related to the operations of the non-profit organization, develops strategies and programs that fulfill its mission, seeks out increased membership enrollment and funding and promotes the acceptance of alternative fuel fleet vehicles and acts as the US Department of Energy Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator in the New York City and Lower Hudson Valley Clean Cities Region. Collaborates with State, County and Federal regulatory agencies, interest groups, media, consultants and other Clean Cities Coalitions to develop policies, coordinate work, and exchange information. She represents the Coalition in public and private forums and manages various projects that increase the number of alternative fuel vehicles on the road and increase alternative fuel use to facilitate petroleum reduction. Ms. Ficicchia coordinates various local events related to promoting alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles and develops and implements policies and long-range organizational goals.

Julie Migliacci, Director of Development and Communications
Ms. Migliacci is the current Director of Development and Communications at New York City and Lower Hudson Valley Clean Communities. Ms. Migliacci has amassed more than a decade’s worth of hospitality and event management experience spanning over three continents and hails from Paris, France. Prior to joining the team at NYCLHVCC, Ms. Migliacci worked for Elizabeth Rose Consulting and managed fundraising and educational events for non-for-profits. She previously managed the client conference center in the fast-paced, high profile world of Goldman Sachs. Her New York City events experience began planning corporate events at the award winning firm, Empire Force Events. Here she had the opportunity to work with New York’s premier venues, caterers and suppliers. Today Ms. Migliacci assist in the coordination of local educational events related to the use of alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles and promoting NYCLHVCC’s long term goals and mission.

Jessica Vom Steeg, Graduate Intern
Ms. Vom Steeg is the current intern for NYCLHVCC. After falling in love with the nonprofit world with an organization that supports critically ill children, Jessica has spent the last four years helping start-up organizations become established nonprofits. With experience in social media, development, volunteer management, special events and strategic planning, NYCLHVCC was a perfect fit to combine Jessica’s skills and talents. Ms. Vom Steeg hails from Southern California and is pursuing a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management at The New School’s Milano campus.

Kevin Kraft, Graduate Intern
Mr. Kraft graduated from Rutgers where he majored in Urban Studies, he currently is a graduate student at the Pratt Institute pursuing his Masters in City & Regional Planning with a concentration in physical design. Kevin Grew up in Hainesport, NJ, while as an undergrad he interned with two non-profits Green Village Philadelphia and Cooper’s Ferry Development Association where his work involved creating a comprehensive outreach program for the rehab of parks in the city of Camden. He has experience in community outreach, report writing, grant research, & land use analysis. Mr. Kraft is interested in sustainable design and technology and how we can incorporate them into our urban environment.
